What Is Neck Pain

A strain, stiffness or severe pain felt over the neck is called a neck pain.

Sometimes there may be a radiating pain felt to the hands, numbness or tingling sensation in fingers or pain radiating to head or shoulders or arms.

In some cases, the heaviness of head or vertigo is also seen along with neck pain.

For some people, the neck may become almost stiff making it difficult to move even.

Inflammation and swellings in the back of the neck and restricted movements is a common symptom present.
